President’s Blog

Jack Buckley, FACHE

Annually, it is appropriate to honor those who have provided significant service for our professional association and our field of endeavor. Please join us for our 3rd Quarter Educational Session, August 4th , when we will honor 10 of our colleagues for their service to the field and to our College. A special thank you to our colleague and friend, Adam Walmus, FACHE, immediate past Director of the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, as he announced his retirement this past May. Adam has served our Board well since 2010 and we take this opportunity to thank him for his service, support and friendship to his colleagues in the ACHE-SETC and the entire VA system.

Regent’s Message

Todd A. Caliva, FACHE

I would like to extend my wishes for continued success to Jessie L. Tucker III, PhD, FACHE and his family in his new role at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. I have known Jessie for several years and appreciate his support and leadership to the healthcare community and his many contributions to the ACHE-SouthEast Texas Chapter (ACHE-SETC). Thank you so much for all you’ve done, Jessie.
