The 2025 Annual Fleming Center Case Competition:
The annual case competition, co-sponsored by our chapter ACHE-SETC, with ATSPH and The Board, provides students with an exciting way to apply what they have learned in the classroom to a real-world problem. Teams of students compete to develop the best solution to a healthcare management-related case study. In the process, they bridge the academic and practice worlds, collaborate with their peers and take on leadership roles in a competitive setting. The 2025 competition will include a yet-to-be-announced special guest speaker as part of the John H. Trollinger Lecture Series on Ethical Values and Health Care Organizations.
There is both an in-person and a virtual competition. The teams of students are judged on their case analysis and presentation. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three teams. The competition will be held Friday, April 4th, 2025 at the UT School of Public Health in Houston but the deadline to register for the competition is March 7, 2025. This is an in-person event. Approximate event time is 8AM – 2PM. Cash awards!
