The Star of Hope Serve a Meal – Lunch Volunteer Service: The Women and Family Development Center at Star of Hope serves three meals a day, 365-days per year. What an opportunity to encourage and uplift as you hand meal trays to their clients!! Ages 16 and older only. You may be asked to help with: Set-up, prep veggies, making sack lunches, organizing the pantry, serve, clean-up.
The Women and Family Development Center at Star of Hope’s Cornerstone Community® provides a continuum of care including crisis services through intensive programs offering stability, personal development and hope. The Center houses up to 150 families and 180 single women which starts them on the path to stability. They provide programs to help residents break the generational cycle of abuse, neglect and addiction that traps so many single women and families through various programs.
