While Phase 1a vaccinations are largely complete, Phase 1b (persons 75 and older) is progressing, and Phase 1c (persons 50 and older) is only just beginning. Massive efforts by county and city health and emergency departments and their healthcare partners have provided full vaccination to 12% (3.5 million) of Texans. The daunting quest ahead is full vaccination of 58% (17.5 million) more Texans required to reach herd immunity. Complicating these efforts is the 5 identified COVID variants that, potentially, will require millions of Texans to receive boosters. The next iteration of the vaccination roll-out is for health system and pharmacy providers to begin complementing the municipality efforts for the continuation of Phase 1a/b/c while transitioning to become the long-term vaccination providers. As leaders in the healthcare ecosystem in Texas, this means you are being tasked with creating systems and processes to meet this need.
Our March 30th webinar will address current and future considerations necessary to deploy effective max vaccination programs with insights from a TMCx founder, Dr. Sarma Velamuri. His company Luminare, was on the forefront on COVID screening and testing and has worked with over 35 counties and cities in Texas, setting up their sites, deploying software, and enabling lean processes to ensure smooth operation.
