Maternal Health Awareness Walk

Monique Mason–Rhodes, MSN, RNC–OB, NE–BC
Monique Mason–Rhodes has over 20 years of experience in high–risk obstetrics as a bedside nurse, an adjunct faculty, and a nurse administrator. Currently, she has been the Director of Nursing (DON) in Women and Infant Services at Ben Taub Hospital since 2017. Monique received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southern University A&M College– Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Texas– Tyler, Texas.
For the past fifteen years, her passion for quality improvement has been credited to the collaborative teamwork of physicians, nurses, and nurse leaders at Ben Taub Hospital. She believes implementing the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) safety bundles will improve maternal care. She enjoys the impact on patient quality/safety to the women of Harris County.
