The 2024’s Cohort Experience

Within this course I learned the proper pathway of selecting a building site, codes for optimal efficiency, and preferences of clients and stakeholders. I especially enjoyed learning about the project manager’s role in the team dynamic and I would strongly encourage others to register for the 2025 cohort.Mrs. Amanda C. Franklin, MSHA, BSN, RN, MEDSURG-BC and Doctor of Education in Educational Administration Student

This course is an enhancement to our history of serving as a Facility Maintenance Manager. We are routinely asked for our professional opinion in regard to development of requirements or risk identification. Thank you for the additional layer of credibility with this credential.Richard J. Young

The course illuminated the profound impact of early and continuous collaboration among clinical, operational, and construction teams on project success. It has fundamentally shaped my approach to capital projects, empowering me to drive more efficient, patient-centered facility development.Samantha J. Zwiebel MSN, RN, CCRN-K, CPXP, CPHQ

I am currently working on a large construction project on our campus. I did not have a construction background and after taking this course I’ve received positive feedback from our construction and design partners. I feel it really helped me to better understand the project from a much deeper perspective and therefore allowed me to be more effective in my role. I report project updates to my Vice President who has also commented that she is so glad she sent me to this course.- Carrie Stiles York, MBA

Page is deeply honored to partner with the American College of Healthcare Executives – Southeast Texas Chapter (ACHE-SETC) for this endeavor.  Our collaboration with Don dates back to 1975, when he served as the administrator of Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

In 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Don approached Page to discuss leading a course for ACHE members in the Houston area. This discussion has now come to fruition as an extensive virtual offering. What began as a 6 to 8-hour educational session has blossomed into a comprehensive 20-hour course, exploring the interdependent roles between architects and clients in healthcare planning, design, and construction.

Throughout his distinguished career, Don has held numerous titles and received countless awards for his efforts to bridge healthcare gaps worldwide. The healthcare industry is incredibly fortunate to benefit from his wisdom and generosity, which he continues to share through his mentorship and innovative initiatives.  Don has garnered many ACHE and healthcare honors, and was recently honored by ACHE-SETC in 2023 with the first Lifetime Mentorship Award.
