Dr. Puneet Freibott, RN, FACHE, CCRN-K, NEA-BC is the Chief Operating Officer at University Medical Center, New Orleans. Dr. Freibott has almost three decades of healthcare leadership experience in diverse backgrounds. Dr. Freibott has served as the Chief Nursing Officer and other executive nursing leadership positions in Non-Profit Academic Magnet Institutions, and For-Profit Hospital Systems. Dr. Freibott’s leadership model is that of servant leadership and strives to increase the standard of the healthcare professionals, and patient care delivery by supporting and mentoring staff at all levels. Dr. Freibott believes in partnering with multidisciplinary teams and utilizes innovation to develop, implement, and evaluate the present and future delivery of patient care and healthcare operations while preserving human self-worth and respect. She is passionate about developing and empowering teams to eliminate patient harm and to create sustainable models for high quality healthcare delivery. She has a passion for supporting and growing strength amongst diverse women leaders and received acclaims as one of Becker’s 2023 COOs to know! Dr. Freibott has been married to her High School Sweetheart for 27 years and has two amazing sons, ages 23 and 20. Her favorite hobbies include coaching, cooking, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
