Community Service Opportunity:
Volunteer at Kids Meals Inc.

Kids’ Meals, Inc. is a free, healthy meal delivery program for children. Their mission is to end childhood hunger in Houston by delivering meals every weekday, year-round directly to the homes of poverty-stricken preschool-aged children who suffer from food insecurity and often live in food deserts. They share grocery bags of fresh produce/pantry staples and connect families with vital wrap-around services to help break the poverty cycle.

ACHE-SETC volunteers, 8 and older, will be asked to help in the kitchen, packing room, food prep areas or other tasks that need attention in the main office or distribution center.  There is no cost for this event but we do ask our volunteers to register to hold one of the 25 volunteer slots for this day by 10-14-22.
