The Cocktail / Mocktail – Moscow Mule:
This cocktail dates back to WWII, is incredibly refreshing, all the while not being complex in preparation or ingredients. You will need the following:
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice (generally two-three wedges squeezed into the mug)
- 4 ounces ginger beer
- Lime wedge, for garnish
Traditionally served in a copper mug, place your ice in first, followed by your vodka of choice, and then lime juice and ginger beer. You can modify these amount to suit your taste. To make the mocktail version omit the vodka and make sure to use non-alcoholic ginger beer. CHEERS!
