We would like to extend an invitation to our ACHE-SETC colleagues to join us for an opportunity to celebrate Black History at our very own Houston Museum of African American Culture (HMAAC), which is dedicated to preserve the richness of Houston’s African American history and the other to promote the vibrancy of African and African American culture and art forms.
This special event includes a special tour of the Houston Museum of African American Culture on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Wear comfortable shoes. The museum is two-stories and unfortunately, at this time, their elevator is currently out of service. To make your experience at HMAAC the best possible, please let us know of any accommodations you might need for your tour, including special needs, etc.
We are accepting donations, priced at $25 for Non-students and $15 for students. All proceeds will be donated to the Houston Museum of African American Culture.
The deadline to register for this event will be COB on February 23, 2024.
