4th Quarter 2024 Breakfast Meeting and Panel Discussion (In-Person & Virtual Options)

December 12 @ 6:45 am - 9:30 am

Don’t Hold People Accountable, Develop Accountable People

Description:

95% of employees are dissatisfied with their organization’s performance evaluation process, and leaders are exhausted trying to impose accountability. In this presentation, participants will learn a practical and sustainable approach to shifting the burden of accountability from leaders to team members, fostering a culture of self-accountability in healthcare teams. Rather than focusing on enforcing compliance, participants will discover how to develop healthcare professionals who hold themselves accountable for both their performance and patient outcomes.

By examining real-world examples and implementing a simple yet powerful self-accountability model, participants will gain the tools needed to address the root causes of performance issues without relying on traditional methods of top-down accountability. This approach not only lightens the leadership burden but also empowers healthcare workers to take ownership of their roles, leading to higher engagement, better patient outcomes, and improved team collaboration.

Key learning points include:
  1. Identifying the core issues that undermine accountability in healthcare settings.
  2. Learning a self-accountability model that can be applied immediately to teams.
  3. Equipping leaders with strategies to cultivate self-accountability, ensuring their teams deliver the best patient care possible.

Our Breakfast meeting will be held from 6:45 AM – 9:30 AM for those attending in-person.  For those tuning in virtually, plan on 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM for Chapter Announcements and the presentation.
