Please tell us a little about your background and what inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare:

Growing up in a community with limited healthcare access, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that lack of care can have on individuals and families. These experiences ignited in me a deep passion to improve and expand healthcare access for all communities. My vision is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstance or location, has timely access to high-quality medical services, leading to better outcomes and healthier lives.

What activities do you like to do in your free time?

I cherish the time I spend with my family, especially with my son. These moments are incredibly important to me as we create lasting memories together, building a foundation of joy and appreciation. 

What is your favorite ACHE memory or activity?

I truly enjoy and value the dynamic networking opportunities, particularly the joint initiatives with NAHSE and NAHLE. These collaborative efforts are, in my view, the very essence of continuous growth, fostering invaluable learning, collaboration, and connection among professionals.

How do you envision healthcare in the next 10 years?

The healthcare landscape is in a perpetual state of dynamic evolution, with the integration of AI and patient-centric care truly setting a new standard. Looking ahead a decade, I envision a future where we’ve fundamentally transformed care delivery. We’ll be creating processes that are not only more efficient and effective, leading to profoundly positive outcomes, but also leveraging information to achieve earlier detection and diagnosis of health issues, allowing us to resolve challenges faster.
