Dear Chapter Members,
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health and spirits. Over the past few months, our community has faced various challenges due to inclement weather events, such as the flooding, derecho, and Hurricane Beryl. I sincerely hope that you have all recovered from an impact these events may have had on you and your families.
As the ACHE-SETC Board Chair, it has been a tremendous honor to serve this remarkable organization. Your individual and collective efforts have contributed to making our chapter highly recognized and respected nationwide.
This year, we set an ambitious goal to reach 2000 members, and I am pleased to announce that we are well on our way to achieving this target. However, we still need your assistance in recruiting new members to help us reach our ultimate goal.
Throughout this year, our chapter has offered several learning and career-enhancing programs, and we hope that you and your peers have taken advantage of these opportunities. Looking ahead, we have an exciting lineup of events planned for the coming months:
1. Annual Leadership Conference on November 7th & 8th. Registration is now open, with a $200 early bird discount available for registrations made before August 14th: https://ache-setc.org/event1/2024-healthcare-leadership-conference/
2. 2024 ACHE-SETC What’s Up Boss? on October 18 (in-person evening) and October 25 (virtual evening). https://ache-setc.org/event1/ache-setcs-2024-whats-up-boss/
3. 4th Quarter Breakfast Meeting on December 12th (Save the date).
We invite and encourage you to join us for these upcoming events and continue to engage with our chapter’s activities. Your support and participation are vital to our success, and we are committed to providing you with valuable resources and opportunities for professional growth. If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, please feel free to reach out to me, Mark Biscone, Board Members and Committee Chairpersons.
Thank you for your dedication to ACHE- SETC. Together, we can make a positive impact and continue to enhance our community and beyond.
Warm Regards,
Chris Okezie, MBA, FACHE
2024 ACHE-SETC Board Chair
