Robbyn L. Traylor, MD is a 6th generation Texan and native Houstonian. She graduated with honors from I. H. Kempner High School in 1997 then, in keeping with family tradition, matriculated to Prairie View A&M University where she earned Magna Cum Laude honors for her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While applying and interviewing for medical school she worked as a Medical Technologist at Ben Taub hospital in the heart of the Texas Medical Center. In 2005 she earned her Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She then moved with her husband to Wichita, Kansas for training at the Wesley Family Medicine residency program. Upon matriculation in 2008, Dr. Traylor earned American Board of Family Medicine certification and she is currently recognized as a Diplomate.
In the years after residency Dr. Traylor gained valuable experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, hospital medicine and primary care. She also became mother to two wonderful daughters. In March of 2014 she found a professional home in Next Level Urgent Care. Presently Dr. Traylor serves as Chief Medical Officer, Quality Officer and heads the Clinical Research department. She leads more than 140 physicians and advanced practice providers in their commitment to providing high-quality, affordable health care for all.
