Please Donate to Support Hospital Heroes Affected by Hurricane Ida – All Event Proceeds & Donations go to the Louisiana Care Fund:

The impact of Hurricane Ida has been devastating for many hospital heroes in Louisiana who experienced significant property loss or personal hardship yet have continued to care for patients before, during, and after the storm. In an effort to provide some relief, the Louisiana Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation has established the Louisiana Care Fund to help hospital employees begin to rebuild and recover from the hurricane. When our hospital family hurts, the healthcare community, our business partners, and the public have historically pulled together to make a difference.

On November 3rd, hear from Phyllis Peoples, CEO at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, Louisiana.  Houma was heavily damaged from Hurricane Ida, a powerful Category 4 Hurricane, at the end of September – 16 years after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in the same region. We will hear from Phyllis and a few of her staff members, including Dr. Andrea Lorio and Dr. Nathan Sutton, on the preparations, the storm and the aftermath and recovery – which is continuing today.  Join us for this account, and help support your brethren in Louisiana that have been affected by this force of nature.  You can attend, attend & donate, or simply donate to make a meaningful difference.  Thank you!
