It is with mixed emotions that I pen my final Regent message. I’ve accepted a position as the SVP of Operations for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

I am honored to have had the opportunity to serve as your Regent and I will miss collaborating with the exceptional healthcare leaders, members and partners in Southeast Texas.

News from the Texas Woman’s University HCA Program
Re-accreditation:
The HCA Program at TWU was recently re-accredited by CAMHE for another 7 years. 2015 marked the 20th consecutive year that the program has been accredited.

Executive MHA:
The HCA Program at TWU recently introduced its executive MHA degree option. The option is available to experienced managers (3-5 years of management experience). The Executive MHA option is under the same CAHME accreditation umbrella as the regular MHA Program, and issues the same MHA degree. The GRE/GMAT entry exam requirement is waived, as are the Level I foundation courses. Courses are from the regular TWU MHA degree program, and follow the same TWU MHA course rotation.

All the Best!
