Greetings! I hope you all have had a great start to the year, both personally and professionally. We wrapped up the first quarter of an already very busy year and we have several highlights to share with you.
In January, the board met to develop our strategies for the next several years. We had a lively discussion regarding what is working well along with what we can refine and where we can utilize new ideas. We also hosted our 2nd Annual Awards Banquet where we recognized a number of our members who have faithfully served our chapter and its membership. We also recognized those who have taken the next step in their careers to become Board Certified as Fellows in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Congratulations to all of the 2022 ACHE-SETC award recipients!

Many of you likely attended ACHE Congress in Chicago last month, and I hope you found it to be a valuable learning and networking experience. It is an opportunity I look forward to each year, to reconnect with colleagues around the country as well as learn from the best and brightest leaders in our industry.
We have a great deal to look forward to as we enter the second quarter. We have numerous events planned, such as the Annual Sporting Clay Tournament & Scholarship Fundraiser on Thursday, April 27th, and our 2nd Quarter Breakfast Meeting on Thursday, June 1st. Beyond those dates, please keep in mind the dates of our Fall Conference, November 2nd and 3rd which will again be held at InterContinental Houston – Medical Center.
Thank you again for allowing me to serve as your ACHE-SETX Chapter President. I look forward to a great year together.
Warm regards,
Greg Haralson
