ACHE-SETC has formed a Texas nonprofit corporation called “Educational Foundation of the SouthEastTexasChapter” (“Foundation”). Dr. David J. Fine, FACHE is President of the Foundation. The Foundation is “An Independent Affiliate of the ACHE – SouthEastTexasChapter. The Foundation’s primary and specific purpose is educational: the Foundation will offer, provide, and sponsor various healthcare-related instructional and information training programs, conferences, forums, panel discussion groups, symposia, activities and other events at locations within the southeast Texas region. The purpose of these events will be to educate , enhance the knowledge of, and further develop the skills and capabilities of attending individuals on current matters of interest affecting the healthcare industry to further improve healthcare delivery.

To help support the Foundation in perpetuity a “Fund for Educational Advancement of Healthcare Leaders” has been initiated. The Foundation invites contributions from the public as well as professional members of the ACHE-SouthEastTexasChapter. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, contributions to the Educational Foundation of the SouthEastTexasChapter are deductible for federal income tax purposes as provided under the Internal Revenue Code.
