Apply Today to be an Observer for the ACHE-SETC Board of Directors for CY2022

The ACHE-SETC Board of Directors is accepting applications for board observers for the 2022 Calendar Year.  There will be two board observer categories: undergraduate student and graduate student.  The observer role is a non-voting board member and is an opportunity to get board experience.  Board experience is a fundamental skill that can have a huge impact on future work opportunities, and the relationships and networks developed in these roles will follow you for your entire career.

Board Observers:

  1. Do not have voting rights but have the right to attend board meetings, receive board materials and participate in board discussions.
  2. Are contracted to the board, not voted in by the members
  3. Observers may participate in board discussions.  If they wish to bring a new topic to the board, they should bring the supporting information to the Board President at least one week in advance of the agenda development
