The ACHE-SETC Board of Directors is accepting applications for board observers for the 2022 Calendar Year. There will be two board observer categories: undergraduate student and graduate student. The observer role is a non-voting board member and is an opportunity to get board experience. Board experience is a fundamental skill that can have a huge impact on future work opportunities, and the relationships and networks developed in these roles will follow you for your entire career.
- Do not have voting rights but have the right to attend board meetings, receive board materials and participate in board discussions.
- Are contracted to the board, not voted in by the members
- Observers may participate in board discussions. If they wish to bring a new topic to the board, they should bring the supporting information to the Board President at least one week in advance of the agenda development
