ACHE-SETC 2022 Mentorship Program

The 2022 ACHE-SETC Mentorship Program

(Note Deadline Below)

The ACHE national organization recognizes the importance of providing resources for the healthcare student and the early careerist. ACHE has developed a myriad of leadership development programs, self-assessment tools, resume tools, job search essentials, networking resources and mentorship programs to accommodate healthcare leaders across the entire spectrum.

ACHE-SouthEastTexasChapter welcomes participants in its mentorship program each fall. The purpose of the mentorship program is twofold: to assist students and early healthcare careerists in their growth and development; to give mentors, a satisfying and enriching relationship in which to share their wisdom, insights, and experiences.

Mentors:

We would like to encourage ACHE-SETC members who currently hold or have previously held mid- and senior level positions within the healthcare or other industries that support the health and wellness of communities to consider becoming a Mentor. Those interested in becoming a Mentor should send an email message expressing their interest to achesetcmentorship@gmail.com. Once the message is received, they will be contacted and guided through the application process. We accept new Mentors throughout the year. We have 2 Mentorship cycles per year—one in March that ends in April of the next year, and then again in September that ends in October of the next year.

Mentees:

We encourage all undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a credential leading to operational roles in healthcare and other industries that promote the health and wellness of communities, as well as careerists to consider becoming a Mentee. Those interested in becoming a Mentee should send an email message expressing their interest to achesetcmentorship@gmail.com. Once the message is received, they will be contacted and guided through the application process. We accept new Mentee throughout the year. We have 2 Mentorship cycles per year—one in March that ends in April of the following year, and then again in September which ends in October of the following year.
